Nevis & Willie with Sanctuary Caretaker
These are the pot-bellied pigs living at Snakes ‘n’ Critters Animal Sanctuary now.

Farrah, an unneutered female pot-bellied pig, around 6 years old , was rescued and brought to us in 5-6-04. An abandoned pig, living in the desert and was hit by a car. She was wild, charging, snapping and aggressive. She has severe neurological and spinal damage. Now, in 2010, she is friendly and is able to walk some. She has to be on supplements, medications and her food soaked.

Sweetpea, neutered, female, Pot-bellied pig, 9 years old, was raised as a pet and an owner surrender, in 8-10-05. She has 3 Mast Cell tumors. Now in 2010, she is blind, arthritic and losing her hearing. She is also on supplements, medications and has her food soaked.

Neevis, neutered male pot-bellied pig, had been raised as a pet indoors, then abandoned in the desert, at 2 years old. He had been attacked by a pack of dogs. He was rescued in 3-9-04. Now in 2010, he’s healthy and a celebrity.

Willy, neutered male, Pot-bellied pig at 9 years old was a sanctuary transfer on 3-9-04. He has arthritis in his back legs. Now in 2010, he is on supplements and medication. He is friendly and is also a celebrity
